Job Description


Dynomax, Inc is expanding!  Our growth requires the addition of a dynamic, hands-on Purchasing Manager with a strong Manufacturing background to help build our Purchasing Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in building or expanding a department, including new process development.


Essential job functions and responsibilities:

  • Develop processes that will support the growth and expansion of the Purchasing Department and Dynomax as a whole.
  • Supervise and lead the purchasing staff.  
  • Manage supplier contracts and implement best pricing strategies
  • Manage the purchase of all materials, commodities, and equipment.

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4 yr. degree; CPM/CPIM a plus
  • Experience with growing company/developing department (oversee growth initiatives, improve efficiencies/processes, strategic planning, equipment purchases, rein in costs, etc.)
  • Direct experience working with vendors- vendor management/communications, contract/price negotiations, etc.
  • Dynamic, hands-on, team player
  • Develop strong working relationships with all departments
  • 5-10 years experience in a purchasing management role
  • Strong ERP Experience (EPICOR experience a plus)
  • Analysis of commodities/market/cost trends
