Job Description


Dynomax Inc. is expanding! We are adding brand new, state of the art CNC Machines. With the additional machines and projects, maintaining quality is priority. The Quality Engineer (QE) will be responsible for performing upfront contract review and risk management of product attributes/processes, as well as inspection and process planning. Quality starts with knowing the customer and understanding their requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the FAIR and RCCA processes.

Dynomax serves a diverse client base with multiple projects running concurrently. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer who desires exciting and challenging work; someone who can work well with other team members and carry out projects on their own.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality or Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Understanding of gages and measurement in a close-tolerance work environment

  • Knowledge of Aerospace industry quality processes (AS9100, First Article Inspection, Risk Management, RCCA)

  • Working knowledge of GD&T, drawings, CAD files, routers, procedures and work instructions

  • Experience with close tolerance CNC machining of metal or composites

  • Experience with RCCA (root cause corrective action) process

  • Knowledge of the practical application of SPC is a plus

  • Knowledge of AS9100D, defense and/or FAA requirement is a plus

  • Experience completing QMS audits is a plus

Job Requirements

Solid and Proven Experience:
Completing Contract Review and Quality Planning

  • Working effectively with customers, supplies and internal parties

  • Resolving customer, supplier and internal failures using RCCA process

  • Developing FAIR's and overseeing their completion and presentation to the customer and/or regulatory authority

  • Improving QA processes within a team environment

  • Developing and implementing process control plans, gaging systems and inspection processes

  • Working on continual improvements to enhance the Quality system (6-Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, lean methods)

  • Supporting production functions
