Dynomax, Inc is expanding! We are adding brand new, state of the art CNC Machines. With the additional machines and projects, maintaining quality is a priority. The Quality Engineer (QE) will be responsible for performing upfront Contract review, Risk management of product attributes and processes, as well as inspection and process planning. Will focus on NADCAP compliance and audit preparation. Quality starts with knowing the customer and understanding their requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the FAIR and RCCA processes.

Dynomax serves a diverse client base with multiple projects running concurrently. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer who desires exciting and challenging work. 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of gages and measurement in close tolerance work environment
  • Knowledge of Aerospace industry quality processes (AS9100, First Article Inspection, Risk management, RCCA)
  • Special Processing (Metal Finishing, Heat Treat, NDT) and NADCAP experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, Drawings, CAD files, routers, Procedures and work instructions
  • Experience with close tolerance CNC Machining of metals or composites
  • Experience with the RCCA - Root Cause Corrective Action Process
  • Some knowledge in the practical application of SPC a plus
  • Knowledge of AS9100D, defense and/or FAA requirements a plus
  • Experience completing QMS audits a plus

  • Completing Contract Review and Quality Planning
  • Working effectively with Customers, Internal parties and Suppliers
  • Resolving Customer, internal and supplier failures using the RCCA process
  • Developing FAIR’s and overseeing their completion and presentation to the customer and/or regulatory authority
  • Improving QA processes in the team environment
  • Developing and implementing process control plans, gaging systems and inspection process 
  • Working on continual improvement to enhance the quality system, such as 6-Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and lean methods
  • Supporting production functions
