Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will assist with establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system. This involves conducting audits, performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective action, and preparing documentation. You will be responsible for leading NADCAP Certification projects and process development activities.

  • Performing FAA / customer required activities and approvals
  • Performing FAI inspection and documenting submission to the customers
  • Inspecting product as assigned (incoming, in-process, outgoing, and investigative), including molded components, machined components, and fixtures
  • Assisting in setting up and recording Inspection Reports
  • Performing corrective action / preventive action activities
  • Performing / participating in internal and supplier audit activities
  • Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system, customer requirements, and FAA requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Business or engineering
    OR professional certification
    OR 5 years of similar work experience in an aerospace production machining environment
  • 3+ years of experience in machining manufacturing environment, preferred
  • 3+ years in quality system maintenance
  • Experience in the aerospace industry (PFMEA, Control Plan, First Article)
  • FAA experience
  • Knowledge of NADCAP processes and approval
  • Proficient ISO/AS quality system knowledge
  • Excellent computer skills, including, but not limited to: Windows, Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Project Manager, Internet
  • Relevant Quality experience and basic knowledge of fundamental QMS concepts
  • Working knowledge and practicable application of relevant analytical techniques
  • Ability to review complex aerospace documentation to assist in the derivation of process requirements
